Ex-servicemen who have already secured employment in civil side under Central Government in Group ‘C’ & ‘D’ posts on regular basis after availing of the benefits of

reservation given to ex-servicemen for their re-employment are NOT eligible for fee concession. However, he/she can avail of the benefit of reservation as ex-serviceman for subsequent employment if he/she immediately, after joining civil employment, gives self-declaration/undertaking to the concerned employer about the date-wise details of application for various vacancies for which he/she had applied for before joining the initial civil employment as mentioned in the OM NO. 36034/1/2014-Estt (Res) dated 14.08.2014 issued by DOP&T.

5(E)

The period of "Call up Service" of an Ex-Serviceman in the Armed Forces shall also be treated as service rendered in the Armed Forces for purpose of age relaxation, as per rules.

5(F)

For any serviceman of the three Armed Forces of the Union to be treated as Ex-Serviceman for the purpose of securing the benefits of reservation, he must have already acquired, at the relevant time of submitting his application for the Post / Service, the status of ex-serviceman and /or is in a position to establish his acquired entitlement by documentary evidence from the competent authority that he would complete specified term of engagement from the Armed Forces within the stipulated period of one year from the CLOSING DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATION (i.e. 16.06.2017) or otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency.

Age concession is not admissible to sons, daughters and dependents of Ex-Servicemen.

Essential Qualifications as on 1st August, 2017:

• Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer:

Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute

Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters I Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.

NOTE:

During the period of probation direct recruits shall have to qualify the “ Subordinate Audit Service Examination” in respective branches for confirmation and regular appointment as Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer.

Junior Statistical Officer:

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard

level:

OR

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

All other Posts

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply, however they must possess Essential qualification on or before 1st August 2017.

6(A):

For posts of Assistant Section Officer (CSS), Assistant Section Officer (MEA) and Assistant in Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) under M/o Corporate affairs, Assistant (GSI) in M/o Mines Computer Proficiency Test has also been prescribed as an Essential Qualification.

6(B)

As per Ministry of Human Resource Development Notification dated 10.06.2015 published in Gazette of India all the degrees/diplomas/certificates including technical education degrees/diplomas awarded through Open and Distance Learning mode of education by the Universities established by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature, Institutions Deemed to be Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956 and Institutions of National Importance declared under an Act of Parliament stand automatically recognized for the purpose of employment to posts and services under the Central Government provided they have been approved by the Distance Education Bureau, University Grants Commission.

6(C)

All candidates who are declared qualified by the Commission for appearing at the Data Entry Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test will be required to produce the relevant Certificates such as Mark sheets for all the three years of Graduation/ Provisional Certificate/ Certificate of Graduation in original as proof of having acquired the minimum educational qualification on or before the 1st August, 2017, failing which the candidature of such candidates will be cancelled by the Commission. The Candidates who are able to prove, by documentary evidence, that the result of the qualifying examination was declared on or before the cut-off date and he/she has been declared passed, will also be considered to meet the Educational Qualification.

SSC CGL 2017 Exam Syllabus Tier II

Tier-II of the Combined Graduate Level Examination -2017 will be of Objective Type Multiple Choice and will be conducted over a period of two days.

Paper-I : Quantitative Ability

Paper-II : English Language & Comprehension

Two topics are added in English section in tier II which are Active Passive and cloze test.You can refer the table of SSC CGL 2017 Tier I English syllabus because all those topics are also asked in tier II.

Paper-III : For Statistics for Investigator Grade-II Post Only

SSC CGL Syllabus 2017 Tier III

The exam syllabus of SSC CGL Tier III isn't much different from previous above. It will be written examination (offline mode) in which Precis Writing/Essay/Formal Letter/Informal Letter are asked. Time duration for tier III exam is 60 minutes.

• Paper-I & II are compulsory for all the categories of posts.
• aper-III is only for those candidates who apply for the post of Statistical Investigator Gr.II& Compiler.
• Paper IV is only for those candidates who apply for the post of Assistant Audit Officer.
• Candidates opting for the post of Compiler and/or Statistical Investigator Gr. II and Assistant Audit Officer must ensure that they possess the requisite qualification as mentioned above.
