Introduction
The institution of Banking Personnel Selection is an autonomous body set up evolve and implement world class process of assessment and selection of personnel for various client organizations. The foundation of the institute is based on the philosophy of Speed, Accuracy and Confidently in all its activities and it strives to achieve this through a blend of modern technology and academic expertise.
It provides its services to all Public sector banks,SBI, RBI, NABARD, SIDBI, few co-operative Banks, LIC & insurance companies. In fact, in other words we can say IBPS conducts examination for all of the above firms.
Over the year, IBPS has gained reputation of being a major “Personnel Selection Test Conducting Agency” of the country. Its strength lies in its capability to develop and construct Multiple Choice Objective Test & Tools used for mass level testing programmes and its ability to conduct its ability to conduct these exams simultaneously for lakhs & lakhs of candidates in about 200 cities/towns all over India and also in few foreign locations.
IBPS Recruitments :
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) started its operation in the year 1975 and became an independent entity in 1984. It is an umbrella organization, covering 20 public sector and regional rural banks. People interested in working as Officers and Clerks in these, have to sit for the Common Written Examination (CWE), organized by IBPS. It was started with a mission of enhancing human resource development through personnel assessment.

Whats New In IBPS CWE PO/MT-VII
- New exam pattern similar to SBI PO Examination.
- In Mains, we have Data Interpretation & Analysis instead of Quantitative Aptitude.
- Separate computer Section of 20 Marks in Mains now removed and clubbed with Reasoning.
- Number of Questions changed and Differential Marking introduced like SBI i.e. 155 Questions and 200 Marks.
- Total Time increased from 2 Hr 20 Min to 3 Hrs.
- Sectional Timing also changed if compared to last year
